My name is Alan Martin. I have been the Denver music area for over 30 years. I have been playing professionally for all of the time playing Drumset to timpani in many professional orchestras, Dance Bands and small Jazz and Rock Combos.
I have also had the pleasure to perform some great Musicals and Operas over the years. My students have been selected for some very prestigious scholarships.
I have also had my fair share of students win positions to the Denver School of the Arts. .
What I teach
Even though I would be very good for students that were advanced players, I truly enjoy most working with beginners.
It is for the beginner, I can offer all the experience, I have gained guiding new players through the most difficult time of their journey.
I enjoy working with beginning brass, woodwind, and string players. I also have been teaching beginning piano students for ten years now.
The percussion family is where I take advanced players through those preparing for collage auditions.
I have been honored to have students that have done very well on auditions to Denver School of the Arts and various quality University programs.Read More
